Chief Commissioners Ajmer-Merwara

Delhi.
No.7/8/42-Political(I), New Delhi, the 30th April 1942.
Continuation Home Department telegram No.2740 dated
7th April, 1942, regarding suspension of warrant against P.C.
Joshi.
We have reason to believe Joshi may now be willing to
lend unconditional support to war effort. We propose
therefore withdrawing the warrant against him, in order to
enable personal contact to be made with him, and the warrant
should be considered as cancelled as from the date of this
letter. Should it be subsequently found that Joshi does
not intend to play the game, the warrant will be re-issued
after allowing him a sufficient notice.
* You are requested to return the original warrant,
forwarded with the Home Department letter No.7/1/40-Politi-
cal dated the 6th March, 1940, for cancellation.
