        [side-heading obscured: Communists].- Rahul Sankrityana and Karjanand Sharma have held
a series of meetings in the Monghyr district and delivered
speeches blaming British policy for the disorders in India, but
pointing out that freedom could not be obtained by sabotage.
Japanese brutality was condemned and emphasis was laid on the
communist programme of securing the release of Congress leaders,

the establishment of Hindu-Muslim unity and the formation of a
national Government to resist Japanese aggression. Russian
Revolution Day was celebrated on November 7 in several places in
the province. At some of the meetings held by the party, the
'repressive action taken by Government to crush the Congress
movement' and recent Government orders concerning students were
condemned. In Jamshedpur the Radical Domocratic Party held a
meeting at which along with an increase in wages, the establishment
of a 'mazdoor raj' was advocated.
